This Christmas season, let carols be your melody of choice. Months have gone into preparations and choir groups in the capital are coming up with events that will both please your ear and touch your heart. With themes that address important social issues, “singing is serious” this time around……
As part of the National Patriotic Project, ‘Come India Sing Jana Gana Mana’, Lorraine Music Academy and LAMP Trust hosted ‘Come India Sing A Christmas Carol – A Musical Evening heralding the Christmas Season’ in Gurgaon on Wednesday.
“We use festivals to spread our message of unity. We dream of the entire city singing carols, and we spread the message of singing the national anthem right. We begin and end our concerts with the national anthem,” Aubrey Aloysius, the founder, said.
The Christmas event by Lorraine Music Academy will be held again at Epicentre, Gurgaon, on December 24. Anny Ghosh, an MNC employee who is keen on attending, said, “The national anthem is our pride. Events such as these give youngsters a platform to learn what they have forgotten.”….
