Lorraine Academy to organise music event on Independence Day

Lorraine Music Academy will organise a live performance on Independence Day at Epicentre Auditorium in Sector 44.

Professional musicians and students of the academy along with students of schools across the national capital region (NCR) will participate in the event.

The event will compromise solo and group performances.

Patriotic songs from across India will be presented.

Some of the songs to be played at the event include Vande Mataram, Woh Din Hai Kitna Door, Azad Huan Aaj Ke Din Desh Hamaara, Bharat Mata Teri Kasam, Galat Mat Kadam Uthao, Chaumasyo Laagyo Re, and Maa Tujhe Salaam.

The show will also include dance performances on patriotic and folk music.

The event will start at 11 am and the entry is open for all.

The audience will also be treated to poetry recitals and speeches.

The event, which will include performances by children and youth, is in aid of raising awareness, support and resources for the National Patriotic Project – Come India Sing Jana Gana Mana. The event will have distinguished guests, including directors, principals of schools, vice chancellors of universities.
